Are you looking for the best source of Timothy Hay for your guinea pig? Timothy hay can be found prepackaged in pet stores and online from a variety of vendors. Timothy hay is named for Timothy Hanson, a farmer who was the first to promote its cultivation. Timothy hay is high in fiber and commonly used also as food for rabbits, chinchillas, horses, and cattle.

No! Timothy hay also makes a great bedding. Consider layering it on top of an absorbent bedding like careFresh. Timothy hay is nice and soft AND easily tunnel-able for your guinea pig.
